Leslie Dallas

Hey friend! I’m Leslie.

I hope you find this a place to be encouraged and strengthened in your season, situation, or struggle. Every season of life is a gift to pursue with intention as we grow in wisdom, faith, and grace. I’d love to invite you along as we grow together!

At a glance, I’m a church planter’s wife, homeschooling mama, former middle school teacher, and pursuer of Jesus above all. I serve on the First 5 writing team for Proverbs 31 Ministries.

My husband, Mike, and I live in rural Missouri with our four kids. I’m a Midwest transplant from Pittsburgh. Mike and I met on a mission trip and were married after 18 months of long-distance. I’ve adored him ever since!

Motherhood is one of my greatest joys, even as it stretches me far beyond myself. I live in the tension of loving my kids in their current stage while aching over how fast it’s all going. I’ve 100% become “that mom” who tells younger mamas, “Treasure your time with them – it goes fast.” We’ve experienced the pain of loss through two miscarriages and a stillborn son. In the grieving, we learned firsthand that God’s grace is a lifeline for the brokenhearted.

Mike and I have been in ministry our whole married life. After ten years of serving at our first church, we felt called to move our young family and plant a church in a small town. Ministry, marriage, and motherhood expose my weaknesses and refine my rough edges (sometimes painfully so). And yet, each of these pursuits has been the joy of my life, even in the messy moments of living life together in a fallen world.

Jesus is the constant in it all. I started walking with Him when I was an insecure middle schooler and never looked back. My life is an imperfect journey of keeping my eyes on a perfect Savior. I always hope people see less of me and more of Him when they meet me.

Thank you for being here, friend. Time is one of our most precious gifts, and I’m honored that you chose to spend some of your moments with me. Psalm 1:3.

They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
